• The Taylorsville 18th Ward will also be discontinued, with our gratitude and a release being extended to Bishop Michael Oakford, his bishopric and all those who have served so diligently within the ward.
All members north of Christy Hill Way will become part of the Taylorsville 17th Ward. All members who reside on Christy Hill Way, Melissa Hill Circle and neighborhoods south to 5400 South, will become part of the Taylorsville 26th Ward.
• With this change, the Taylorsville 17th Ward will be realigned. The ward will no longer include apartments and condominiums west of Bangerter Highway. These members will become part of the Taylorsville 16th Ward.
• The Taylorsville 16th Ward will be realigned consistent with the changes we have announced. The ward boundaries will now cross 4700 South to include members of the 25th Ward. It will also include apartments and condominiums west of Bangerter Highway. Matthew Winward will continue to serve as bishop of this ward.
• The Taylorsville 26th Ward will now cross 3600 West to include neighborhoods once part of the Taylorsville 18th Ward. Kevin Jones will continue to serve as bishop of this ward.’

We propose that these changes to ward boundaries be sustained. Those who can sustain these changes to boundaries within the Taylorsville Utah South Stake, please show it by the uplifted hand. Thank you.
Please continue to meet with your current wards for Christmas Sunday on December 22nd. We will then meet as new wards on Sunday, December 29th.
We have one more matter of business. With these changes, it has become necessary to make some adjustments in where wards are meeting. Starting on December 29th, wards will meet at the following times and locations:
• The 12th Ward will meet at 9:00 a.m. in their current chapel on Brian’s Way. After the New Year, they will meet at 10:30 a.m.
• The 17th Ward will continue to meet in the chapel on 4700 South. Meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue at that time through next year.
• The 11th Ward will meet in a new location. Beginning on Dec. 29th, they will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel n 3676 West 4700 South.
• The 16th Ward will continue to meet in the Stake Center. Meetings will begin at 9:00 a.m., starting on Dec. 29th.
• The 26th Ward will return to the Stake Center. Sacrament meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. and continue in that time slot for the coming year.
• The 23rd Ward will remain in their current location, with meetings
starting at 9:00 a.m.
• And lastly, the 2nd Branch will remain in the chapel on 3200 West. Sacrament meeting will remain at 12:00 p.m. for the next year.
We are grateful for your patience and faith as we make these adjustments in schedules and boundaries.
As a stake presidency, we testify of the Lord’s hand in the changes that have been announced today. Change is never easy. Change is never comfortable. But we know that God will strengthen, bless and lift those who follow Him, even when the path is hard.
We love you deeply and sincerely. We are grateful for your sustaining vote.
